April 2012: Joined the company as a new graduate

Through my experience as a branch manager in the staffing industry, a secondment to an advertising agency, and involvement in numerous business ventures, I have broadened my professional scope and developed skills that are applicable across a wide range of industries.

  • What makes this job rewarding?

By working on diverse and evolving projects, you can gain a broad range of experience that you wouldn’t be able to acquire at a single company, while also developing your own skills.
A major source of job satisfaction comes from working alongside the management teams of various companies to explore M&A opportunities, new business ventures, and business models—allowing you to learn their way of thinking and strategies while experiencing business growth firsthand.

  • Experiences of taking on new challenges and the opportunities that arose

I have been involved in the staffing industry for about 10 years, during which time I gained a deep understanding of its fundamentals by managing existing branches and launching new ones as a branch manager.
Furthermore, I feel that my experience working across the group’s diverse businesses, my secondment to an advertising agency, and my interactions with people from various industries have been invaluable in my current role.

  • How have you grown through your work?

While managing a diverse range of operating companies within the group, I developed a management perspective through performance management and turnaround support, and honed my strategic thinking skills through M&A and new business development initiatives.
Through my experience as a branch manager in the staffing industry, a secondment to an advertising agency, and involvement with numerous business units, I feel that my professional scope has expanded and I have acquired skills that are applicable across a wide range of industries.

  • How have the people you’ve met and the environment at work influenced you?

Working in an environment where I interacted with a wide range of people—including employees from various companies, senior management, and frontline staff in the staffing industry—I learned the importance of communication in building trusting relationships.

JAPAN CREATE,LTD. Sales

Mr. Hino

April 2014: Joined the company as a new graduate

I have built my career specializing in the recruitment industry. From working on the front lines of sales to leading teams in a managerial role, I have experienced both sides of the business and truly appreciate the unique challenges and rewards of each.

  • What makes this job rewarding?

I’ve been entrusted with managing the entire Kyushu region, which allows me to oversee operations on a large scale. To achieve our team’s goals and help our members succeed and grow, we go through a process of trial and error—and when things finally click, it’s incredibly rewarding.

  • Experiences of taking on new challenges and the opportunities that arose

Until now, there were no JC Forklift Training Centers in the Kyushu region, but TSUKASA Fukuoka has now opened its doors. With a proven track record of operating four schools in the Kanto and Kansai regions, we had been looking for an opportunity to enter the Fukuoka logistics market. Thanks to a series of fortunate connections, we were able to open our school right in the heart of the market, and we consider this to be a truly rewarding experience.

  • How have you grown through your work?

While sales skills and industry knowledge are certainly important, the most crucial aspect is fostering harmony and communication with people from diverse backgrounds and positions. I’ve come to constantly ask myself, “How can I get team members with diverse values to work toward the same goal?”

  • How have the people you’ve met and the environment at work influenced you?

As I entered my second year, I found myself receiving more criticism than during my smooth first year, and I often felt discouraged. During that time, my supervisor at the time worked with me to address the issues, which was a huge relief. Later, when my supervisor gave me a stern but encouraging talk, saying, “A negative attitude is a problem because it affects morale,” it became the turning point that helped me look forward again.

Mr. Honda

JAPAN CREATE,LTD. Overseas Business Division

Mr. Honda

Joined the company as a new graduate in April 2020

After five years in the International Business Division, I’m moving on to a new challenge. Even in a completely different field, I hope to put the skills I’ve acquired through my domestic and international experience to good use.

  • What makes this job rewarding?

“Because our company has local subsidiaries overseas, I believe one of our greatest strengths is our ability to work closely with local staff to provide in-depth support to international candidates who are striving to find employment in Japan. There is nothing more rewarding than witnessing the moment when someone we’ve supported receives a job offer and sees their dreams come true.”

  • Experiences of taking on new challenges and the opportunities that arose

I received a request for an on-site interview abroad from a company that had hired me for the first time, so I accompanied them and served as their local guide. Although I was nervous about my first business trip overseas, I prepared thoroughly, and the interview went smoothly—resulting in a job offer. It was a major challenge, but that experience continues to give me confidence to this day.

  • How have you grown through your work?

I have developed the ability to take requests—whether from within the company or outside—and manage them from preparation through execution, seeing them through to the very end. I truly believe that I was able to acquire this skill precisely because I work for a company that fosters an environment where it’s easy to take on new challenges and where there are always people ready to lend a hand when I’m in a bind.

  • How have the people you’ve met and the environment at work influenced you?

The turning point for me was meeting my new supervisor, who was transferred to our department during my second year at the company. I learned from him about communication skills, the importance of prompt responses, and the mindset needed to take on new challenges, as well as how to approach my work. He also created an environment where I felt comfortable seeking advice. I strive to pass on what I’ve learned to the junior colleagues under my supervision.
